Hi there! I’m Avni (Uh-V-Nee), a third-year student at the University of Victoria, where I’m pursuing a double major in Economics and English Literature. My academic journey so far has been the most challenging but most rewarding experience and I absolutely love what I study.
When I’m not looking at supply and demand curves, you can usually find me with my nose in a novel or gardening!
Originally, I’m from Grande Prairie, Alberta. It’s a small city that many people haven’t heard of, so let me paint a picture for you: think endless canola fields and plenty of cowboy boots! I moved to Victoria in 2022 for my studies, and while I miss my family in Grande Prairie, I’m so grateful for the experiences I have had and will continue to have in Victoria.
